A real piano that fits in your pocket

Most online pianos squeeze 88 tiny keys onto a phone screen. This one is built for touch: hold your phone upright and you get two keyboards, one above the other, with keys wide enough for your fingers. Turn it sideways for one long keyboard. Play chords with several fingers, slide for a glissando and hold the sustain pedal — all in the browser, with nothing to install.

How to play piano on your phone

  1. Turn the volume up and tap any key. The first notes play straight away while the piano sound loads.
  2. Hold the phone upright for two keyboards: the lower one for your left hand, the upper one for your right. The arrows above each keyboard move it by an octave.
  3. Tap Sustain to let notes ring as if the pedal were held, and tap the sound button to switch to electric piano, organ, strings and more.
  4. Add the page to your home screen to open it full screen in one tap — it keeps working offline.

Made for touch screens

Keys sized for fingers
Every key is at least a fingertip wide. Choose small, medium or large keys in Settings.
Two keyboards in portrait
Play with both hands without turning the phone. Each keyboard moves by octaves on its own.
Chords and glissando
Press several keys at once for chords and slide across the keys for a glissando. Play nearer the front of a key for a louder note.
Works offline
After your first visit the sounds are saved on your phone, so the piano keeps playing without a connection.

On a tablet or a computer? The full piano adds learn mode with falling notes, recording, chord names and MIDI keyboards.

Mobile piano questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. This page is the piano: open it in Safari or Chrome and start playing. Add it to your home screen if you want it to open full screen like an app.

Can I play with both hands on a phone?

Yes. Hold the phone upright and use the lower keyboard for your left hand and the upper one for your right. Each keyboard moves by an octave with its own arrows.

How many keys does the mobile piano have?

All 88, from A0 to C8. Each keyboard shows about an octave at a time so the keys stay big, and the arrows take you through the whole range.

Why can’t I hear anything?

Check that the volume is up and that no other app is playing audio, then tap a key again. If it is still silent, reload the page.
